The beginning is very playful, but the song suddenly takes a turn towards nostalgia towards the middle and then returns to its wistful, whimsical playful tune towards the end...You're right, night isn't always dark and sinister: It's mysterious.

LOVE how you very subtly did that loop. Very, very good.

I like how it's overall very soft toned...but at the same time I wish there were some dynamics, even a little. I know, I know, .the original doesn't have any either, but just a thought. Then again, for such a neutral song, how would you put in dynamics? However, I much prefer listening to this version over the original midi so all's good.

Upbeat, tasteful, and gives a new flair on what was already a pleasant song. You gave it your own twist while still keeping it very true to the original. The piano echoes sounded especially cool.

I couldn't quite believe my ears, even if the title so blatantly proclaimed it, I just couldn't believe someone actually uploaded such a beautiful, incredible thing...it makes me fiercely nostalgic for the good old days of when ass kicking was made even more kick ass with this BGM. You did a great job in translating the original midi into a very dramatic, orchestral piece. It's fantastic; I think you really captured the essence of battling. No FFTA fan can pass this up--it's the one piece every one of us should know by heart...How in the world did you get a hold on these midis? It boggles me, really, but I'm glad since they sound so great...

I love the whole mystical, fairy-esque feel without it sounding too...corny, fairy-esque. The sharp sounds, combined with the mellow tempo and the nice musical melody touch, made for a great mix. At first, I thought that the drum(?) sounds were too loud in comparison to the rest of the layers of music, but I digress: It's what defines this song.
I much prefer this the way it is and because that "drum" sound stops abruptly around 03:30, it makes the downfall towards the ending all the more dramatic. Especially when you threw in a strumming harp at the end. BUT the transition of the music from 03:44 to 03:45 sounds too abrupt (when the song goes into that "harp" ending). Maybe you can smooth it over somehow...so as to keep the ending from sounding too random. My suggestion is that you lower the dynamics between 03:40-03:45 in a descendo, and after a soft, quiet pause in the song, gently let the music lift into that harp ending in a sharp crescendo.
Otherwise, great song!

Towards the middle, the rapid harmony shows up! Love the fast, tripping-like left hand thing-y going on there! But I think the song could still have been awesome even without the added electric-sounds around 00:50. It sounded almost interruptive with the great fast-paced piano part going on right before. However, I don't think it was out of place at all after the one minute mark! Great ending.

This would be a great battle theme, somewhere, sometime...Love the fast paced tempo without it going overboard, and it has a great rhythm without being an incomprehensible mess. Whoever your father is...wow.

The first several measures that played were eerily reminiscent of Nobuo Uematsu. I like it! Please don't take offense at my comparison...I really do think this piece is wonderful and original. It's brooding at times, ominous at others, and towards the middle, it's so sweetly light heartened and then it turns wistful...yet, all these stream together into a nice blend of soft, melodious music.
Dynamics were great and subtle hesitances and pauses at the most opportune moments made for a nice performance--and not for lack of skill, either. It added to its emotional value, mmyes. Download, download, here I go...

"Beautiful, simply...beautiful"
This is kinda awe inspiring, actually. So very smooth and very, very beautiful. But really, it doesn't surprise me that you came up with this. ;p Is the sheet music available? I remember I got a lot of the other sheet music off of you aWHILE ago, but I completely forgot what the program I used to open the files with was. TT_TT
